The Cultural Division’s Arts and Cultural Festival and Special Event Sponsorship Program is designed to provide startup and matching funds for expenses relating to the planning and execution of arts and cultural festivals and special events throughout Broward County. The goal of this program is to provide equitable access to funding for community arts and cultural events in a manner that promotes community building, collaboration, and economic growth and development among the cultural community and small businesses. Proposals must demonstrate arts & cultural, community, and economic impact to Broward County, demonstrate audience engagement, and reflect a high level of excellence that furthers the arts and cultural image of the County. The 10th Annual Florida International Trade and Cultural Expo is a vibrant event that showcases the benefits of and opportunities for international trade while highlighting diverse arts and cultures.
Local artists are invited to apply to exhibit at the 10th Annual Florida Trade and Cultural Expo (FITCE) October 22-23, 2025, hosted by Broward County. The FITCE Cultural Program Committee will be selecting professional artists to exhibit and engage audiences during the expo.
WHO MAY APPLY: Individual Broward-based practicing emerging and professional artists, who are at least eighteen (18) years old, residing in Broward County, and who have lived continuously in Broward County for the immediate twelve (12) consecutive months prior to the filing date of the FITCE Artist application. Applications will also be accepted by art students who are pursuing full-time undergraduate or graduate degrees.

Application workshops will be held on August 19, 2025, at 12:00 PM and 5:00 PM and September 10, 2025 at 12:00 PM via Zoom. Register here.

FITCE 2025 APPLICATION DEADLINE: September 19, 2025 on or before, 11:59 PM.
NOT ELIGIBLE: Artists who engage in artwork only as a hobby or current employees, consultants, board members, and/or funders of the Broward Cultural Council of the Broward Cultural Division.
